North America Marketing Manager
Seeking a dynamic and strategic Marketing Director to lead and drive revenue-generating activities across multiple product brands. The ideal candidate will excel in managing and developing digital channels (own and third-party marketplaces), branding strategies, leading cross-functional teams, and optimizing marketing initiatives for B2B, B2C, D2C, and retail channels (on and offline).

Our client develops leading brands for commercial and retail customers, delivering innovative pest control and garden care products to a global customer base. Based in the UK, they operate from 17 locations worldwide, and are private equity backed. The present focus is to grow digital channels including Walmart, Amazon, and many other major online retailers. This is a great opportunity to contributre to scaling the global ecommerce program and working across an international team.
Description
- Develop and execute the North American marketing strategy, online and offline, ensuring alignment with global objectives and market-specific needs.
- Oversee e-commerce and marketplace strategies to achieve sales goals for five product brands.
- Collaborate with the executive team to drive growth, build brand equity, and increase market share.
- Lead cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of marketing, product development, and sales initiatives.
- Enhance customer experience by developing and promoting customer-centric marketing strategies and programs.
- Develop and execute go-to-market (GTM) strategies for new and existing product lines, including IoT innovations and category consolidations.
- Develop and execute innovative, data-driven lead generation strategies across digital and traditional marketing channels to drive high-quality leads for B2B markets.
- Perform profitability analysis by product, channel, and service to ensure margins are maintained. Use data and analysis to drive departmental performance against objectives and support decision-making.
- Collaborate on initiatives to grow e-commerce revenue, including Amazon channel expansion with new product categories.
- Strategically allocate and manage the marketing budget to maximize ROI, adjust spending based on performance, and prioritize high-growth opportunities.
- Oversee and mentor a team of product managers responsible for the North American portfolio.
- Ensure their strategies and execution align with market needs, company vision, and profitability goals.
- Foster a collaborative environment, providing guidance on product lifecycle management, customer insights, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Lead product managers in working closely with engineering, manufacturing, sales, and marketing teams to execute successful product launches.
- Oversee the creation and execution of integrated marketing campaigns, including digital, social media, print, and in-store promotions.
- Ensure consistent and impactful brand messaging for various audiences, supporting global brand guidelines and positioning.
- Maintain consistency in brand messaging and visual identity across all channels.
- Measure and report on the effectiveness of campaigns, leveraging data to optimize performance.
- Lead and mentor a high-performing marketing team, fostering a collaborative and results-driven culture.
- Support career growth of team members, including guiding junior team members in developing and launching new cross-selling strategies.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders, including sales, operations, external, and global partners.
- Manage the North American marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize ROI.
- Negotiate with vendors and agencies to maximize return on investment.
- Present marketing performance and strategic initiatives to the C-Suite and global leadership teams.
- Monitor and optimize KPIs to ensure marketing activities align with corporate goals.
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- 8+ years of experience in marketing leadership roles, with a strong focus on B2B and B2C brand strategy.
- Experience with CRM platforms - Microsoft D365, Netsuite, Salesforce, or similar.
- Proven expertise in leading GTM strategies, including IoT and retail product launches.
- Exceptional people management skills, with experience mentoring cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated success in budget planning and performance analysis.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and align with senior executives.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Analytical mindset with experience using data to drive product and business decisions.
- Background in consumer goods, pest control, or industrial equipment industries.
- Familiarity with marketing technology tools and platforms (Google Analytics, SEMRush, Klaviyo, BigCommerce, Monday.com, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with digital marketing channels (SEO, PPC, e-commerce, and Amazon marketplaces).
- Proven track record of building and mentoring high-performing teams.
Job Offer
- $130,000 - $150,000 base
- 15-20% annual bonus, based on metrics and performance
