Financial Reporting Associate - Investment Management - NYC
Reporting into the Director of Financial Reporting, this role will oversee financial statement preparation, SEC filings and compliance, and process improvement & controls.
Client Details
Our client specializes in loans backed by commercial real estate. It's external manager is an asset manager that invests in the private and public markets.
Description
The key responsibilities of this role include the following:
- SEC filings and compliance
- Process improvements and controls
- Liaison and coordination with fund accountants and external auditors
Profile
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualities:
- 6+ years of experience, the bulk being in Big 4 accounting
- Experience with SEC filings, 10q, 10k
- CPA highly preferred
