Project Manager - Mechanical Gov Projects - Manasses, VA
Our Client is seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to oversee multiple high-value projects, managing budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and client relationships. This role is ideal for a proactive leader with strong mechanical expertise who can drive projects from inception to completion while ensuring top-tier quality and efficiency.

Operating across the DC Metro and East Coast, they specialize in tenant fit-outs, retrofits, ground-up builds, and Design-Build projects. Backed by private equity, they are experiencing rapid expansion and maintaining a backlog of $80M+ for 2025. Their tight-knit Project Management team of 9 professionals fosters a culture of collaboration and excellence.
Description
- Oversee and manage 4-5 mechanical projects with a total value of $20M+
- Lead project teams, ensuring timely execution and adherence to scope, budget, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with general contractors, subcontractors, and internal teams for seamless project delivery.
- Monitor financials, track progress, and manage risk mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, project specifications, and company standards.
- Maintain strong client relationships and serve as the primary point of contact for project-related matters.
Profile
- 5+ years of mechanical construction project management experience.
- Proven ability to manage tenant fit-outs, retrofits, and ground-up construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and controls (Controls experience is a plus!).
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to drive team performance and collaboration.
