Traveling Assistant Superintendent - Laredo Construction
We are looking for an Assistant Superintendent with large commercial ($15M+) project experience to oversee, coordinate, and manage all on-site construction activities, including safety, logistics, schedule, day-to-day trade activities, document management, meetings, compliance, completion, and turnover. As well the Superintendent shall assist the Project Manager in the construction activities.

Description
- Evaluate drawings and specifications to ensure the project / assigned scope is meets contractual obligations
- Create, maintain, and execute safety protocol
- Create and maintain the Crisis Management Plan
- Manage Labor Production and other Daily Reports
- Create, maintain, and execute the Site Utilization, Logistics, and Phasing Plans
- Establish, communicate, and implement the schedule for assigned area of responsibility with the ability to monitor and update schedules for progress
- Set priorities, pre-plan activities, and communicate expectations with field employees and/or subcontractors
- Supervise craft field employees or subcontractors to achieve schedule, profit, productivity, quality, and safety objectives
- Perform field engineering functions when needed
- Analyze construction problems and develop practical alternative solutions
Profile
- 3+ years of relevant large commercial ($15M+) construction experience
- Proven experience managing projects successfully from start to finish
- Team leader with effective communication skills

- $76,000 - $112,000 base - dependent on experience
