Quality Engineer - Automotive | Bonus Eligible!
Our client, a leading manufacturer of electro-mechanical components for the automotive industry, is seeking a Quality Engineer to join their quality department. This role primarily involves overseeing PPAPs and participating in internal audits. Additionally, there are excellent opportunities for career advancement within the quality department and beyond!

Description
- Prepare and conduct internal IATF 16949 audits
- Delegate duties to junior engineers and technicians
- Manage PPAPs from start to finish
- Work directly with customers to discuss reports and non-conformances
- Lead corrective actions through Root Cause Analysis methods
- Generate documentation and standards for new products
- Work with supply chain team to provide updates to customers on lead times, recommend alternatives
Profile
- 3+ years experience in quality
- Background in electronics manufacturing
- Knowledge of IATF 16949 or ISO 9001 or AS9100
- Experience with New Product Development
- Strong communication skills, experience with customers
- Degree in engineering or related field preferred
- Experience leading and mentoring engineers
- Sponsorship not provided
Job Offer
- Base Salary between $75,000 - $90,000
- Discretionary bonus based on company performance
