Fund Accountant - Westchester County, NY

The Fund Accountant will calculate NAV, prepare financial statements, analyze fund performance, and report into the Controller.

Our client is an alternative investment management firm with 7B AUM. They invest across public and private markets, and are rapidly growing with eight total offices worldwide!

Description

The key responsibilities of this role include the following:

• Prepare monthly performance estimates, fund NAVs and other ad-hoc projects and reporting
• Review calculation of management fees and performance fees
• Prepare and record monthly journal entries
• Assist with preparing files for quarterly and annual regulatory reporting
• Coordinate with external auditors for the year-end audit process and financial statements

Profile

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualities:

• 3+ years of experience
• A background in audit or fund controlling at a financial services company
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
• CPA preferred
