Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement business development strategies to grow market share across sectors such as energy storage, construction, and industrial manufacturing.

Identify and pursue new business opportunities through OEMs, distributors, and direct customer engagement. -
Build and maintain strong customer relationships to assess technical needs and deliver tailored solutions. -
Achieve and exceed sales targets and margin goals for the North American market. -
Conduct market, competitor, and customer analysis to guide strategic planning. -
Collaborate with R&D, product development, marketing, operations, and supply chain teams to support commercial initiatives. -
Lead pricing discussions, contract negotiations, and long-term agreement development. -
Monitor market trends, customer feedback, and competitive activity to inform strategy. -
Support marketing efforts with technical input and help develop sales collateral. -
Maintain accurate and timely reporting, forecasting, and CRM updates.

Profile
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Business, or a related field; technical background preferred.

7+ years of experience in business development or technical sales in chemicals or industrial manufacturing. -
Proven track record of selling specialty chemicals or materials to OEMs and/or via distribution. -
Experience working in a solution-based, technical sales environment. -
Demonstrated ability to grow new markets or product lines. -
Experience in a matrixed or global organization preferred. -
Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills. -
Strong initiative and a hunter mindset. -
Willingness to travel 30-40% across North America.
