Superintendent

We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee all on-site construction activities for commercial interior projects in NYC. The ideal candidate will ensure high-quality execution, schedule adherence, and compliance with safety and building regulations.

Description

• Manage daily site operations for commercial interior fit-outs, ensuring timely and quality delivery.

• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and inspectors; resolve field issues swiftly.

• Maintain detailed project documentation, including logs, reports, and schedules.

• Uphold safety standards, conduct toolbox talks, and ensure OSHA compliance.

• Interface with project managers, clients, and designers to align on progress and resolve discrepancies.

• Oversee quality control and punch list completion.

Profile

• Minimum 5+ years' experience as a superintendent in commercial interiors within NYC.

• Proven success managing $1M-$10M buildouts in occupied and unoccupied spaces.

• Strong communication, leadership, and decision-making skills.

• Deep knowledge of NYC DOB, safety protocols, and union coordination (if applicable).

• Proficiency in construction management tools (e.g., Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam).

• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications with precision.
