Description
Project Accountant Responsibilities:
- Manage project finances and prepare financial reports
- Conduct financial analyses to assist in decision-making
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
- Collaborate with project managers to establish project budgets and monitor project costs
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable related to projects
- Prepare project invoices and follow up on payment
- Review and approve project-related expenses
- Contribute to the development of financial policies and procedures
Profile
A successful Project Accountant should have:
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3-5 years of project accounting experience
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
