Experienced and detail oriented Senior Project Manager is sought to join a top 50 ENR, award winning general contractor's growing Charlotte office. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving their continued success throughout the Charlotte market, managing their award winning multifamily construction projects and mentoring their excellent project management team. This individual will report directly to the Project Executive and be responsible for managing their projects from inception to close out, ensuring the projects are delivered on time and on budget. This client's annual revenue is about $1B and their projects are anywhere from $50M to $100M on average, specializing in ground up luxury multifamily and commercial construction.

Description

This individual will play a pivotal role in driving this client's continued success in the Charlotte market. They will be responsible for overseeing their team and reporting directy to the Project Executive.

Main duties and responsibilities include the following:

• Review plans, specifications, and client requirements
• Initiate RFIs to resolve issues in the field and plan discrepancies
• Process, review, and track submittals
• Review design and shop drawings to evaluate the impact on the cost and schedule
• Prepare Subcontractor scope of work letters
• Initiate change orders to the Owner and solicit bids from Subcontractors
• Perform estimates and compile cost breakdowns for the client to review
• Maintain procurement, submittal, and RFI logs
• Provide schedule assistance and track daily production
• Coordinate correspondence between the design and construction team
• Lead and mentor a team of Project Management staff

Senior Project Manager - Top 50 ENR GC - Charlotte should have:

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture or related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of construction-related project management experience with a general contractor.
• A proven track record of running multifamily projects, $15M to $100M+.
• Knowledge of construction methods and materials, costing, & scheduling
• Must have Procore experience
• Ability to organize, think ahead, plan and manage multiple priorities
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Job Offer

Senior Project Manager - Top 50 ENR GC - Charlotte will receive:

• Base salary between $130,000 to $170,000 - Dependent on experience
