Project Engineer

The Project Engineer will play a critical role in supporting the successful delivery of large commercial construction projects. This position requires a motivated individual with a strong technical background in civil or mechanical engineering and proven experience in the commercial construction sector in Ontario.

We are currently seeking a Project Engineer in Ontario to join our dynamic team.

Description

The Project Engineer will:

• Assist in project planning, scheduling, and budgeting.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met.
• Prepare, review, and manage project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress, ensure compliance with plans/specifications, and uphold safety standards.
• Collaborate with project managers and superintendents to resolve technical challenges and drive project efficiency.
• Maintain effective communication with clients, architects, and engineers.

Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in commercial construction projects, preferably with a general contractor.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and best practices.
• Proficient in construction management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project).
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
