Description
My client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Superintendent to lead field operations on complex commercial construction projects. This role is critical to ensuring that projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards. The Superintendent will serve as the on-site leader, coordinating all trades and managing day-to-day construction activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all on-site construction activities and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and schedule requirements
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and field staff
- Maintain daily logs, schedules, and reports
- Lead site meetings and communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and inspectors
- Ensure adherence to project plans, specifications, and building codes
- Utilize tools such as Procore, Primavera P6, and Excel for documentation and scheduling
Profile
- Progressive experience in the skilled trades and/or a bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience leading ground-up, new construction, and renovation projects
- At least three completed new construction projects as a lead superintendent
- Experience managing projects valued at $25 million or more (preferred)
- Familiarity with Procore, P6, and Excel
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
