Description

The Sr. Preconstruction Manager will:

• Lead preconstruction efforts for multiple commercial projects, including budgeting, estimating, and scheduling.
• Develop and manage cost models, value engineering opportunities, and risk analysis to optimize project outcomes.
• Collaborate with clients and design teams to refine project scopes and deliverables.
• Oversee the bid process, including subcontractor prequalification, solicitation, and scope review.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless transitions from preconstruction to construction phases.
• Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to junior preconstruction team members.

Profile

The Sr. Preconstruction Manager should have:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• Experience in preconstruction, estimating, or a related role with a commercial General Contractor.
• Proven track record of managing preconstruction efforts on projects $40M+.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and cost structures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Proficiency in estimating and project management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, or similar tools).
