Job Requirements of Education and Municipal - Project Manager:
Project Scheduling: Develop comprehensive timelines for each project phase, ensuring alignment with established deadlines.Contract Negotiations: Engage with architects, vendors, contractors, and other professionals to secure favorable contract terms.
Permit and Procurement Management: Obtain all necessary building permits and licenses, and coordinate the timely delivery of materials and equipment to job sites.
Construction Oversight: Monitor on-site activities to ensure optimal worker productivity and adherence to all building and safety standards.
Progress Coordination: Lead regular meetings with Superintendents and Subcontractors to evaluate quality, safety, progress against schedules, submittal requirements, and material deliveries-ensuring project goals and deadlines are consistently met.
Resource Planning: Strategically review and schedule project workloads to effectively allocate personnel, materials, equipment, and manage subcontractor performance within budget and on time.
Collaborative Relationship Building: Cultivate strong, cooperative relationships with Project Managers, Superintendents, Subcontractors, and Clients to foster a professional, team-oriented environment.

Profile
- 5-10+ years commercial construction experience
- 2+ years Project Management experience
- Education, Municipal, or Public projects required
- Ideally commercial experience
- Preferably General Contractor experience
- Good leadership skills
- Be able to see a project through from start to finish
