Education and Municipal - Project Manager

$105,000 - $125,000/Year

Provide comprehensive support to the team by coordinating daily project activities. This role is responsible for managing meeting schedules, overseeing budgets, and upholding standard's are essential for fostering a stronger team and ensuring project success.

Description

  • Project Scheduling: Develop comprehensive timelines for each project phase, ensuring alignment with established deadlines.

  • Contract Negotiations: Engage with architects, vendors, contractors, and other professionals to secure favorable contract terms.

  • Permit and Procurement Management: Obtain all necessary building permits and licenses, and coordinate the timely delivery of materials and equipment to job sites.

  • Construction Oversight: Monitor on-site activities to ensure optimal worker productivity and adherence to all building and safety standards.

  • Progress Coordination: Lead regular meetings with Superintendents and Subcontractors to evaluate quality, safety, progress against schedules, submittal requirements, and material deliveries-ensuring project goals and deadlines are consistently met.

  • Resource Planning: Strategically review and schedule project workloads to effectively allocate personnel, materials, equipment, and manage subcontractor performance within budget and on time.

  • Collaborative Relationship Building: Cultivate strong, cooperative relationships with Project Managers, Superintendents, Subcontractors, and Clients to foster a professional, team-oriented environment.

Profile

  • 5-10+ years commercial construction experience
  • 2+ years Project Management experience
  • Education, Municipal, or Public projects required
  • Ideally commercial experience
  • Preferably General Contractor experience
  • Good leadership skills
  • Be able to see a project through from start to finish
