Development Associate
The Development Associate will support multifamily / multi-family development and investment initiatives across the full development life cycle, from site selection and underwriting through construction and ongoing asset management. This role works closely with internal teams and external partners to drive value across a growing portfolio.
Client Details
This opportunity is with a privately held real estate investment and development firm focused on multifamily / multi-family assets. The firm takes a hands-on approach, offering exposure to the full development life cycle across multiple U.S. markets.
Description
- Support multifamily / multi-family projects across the full development life cycle
- Assist with site selection, underwriting, and feasibility analysis
- Coordinate due diligence and work with architects, engineers, and contractors
- Support construction-phase tracking, budgets, and schedules
- Assist with asset management and portfolio performance initiatives
- Conduct market research to support investment decisions
- Prepare materials for internal reviews and strategy discussions
- Ensure compliance with zoning, permitting, and regulatory requirements

Profile
A successful Development Associate should have:
- Experience or strong interest in multifamily / multi-family development
- Exposure to underwriting, construction, or asset management preferred
- Asset management experience considered a plus
- Experience in the Carolina's, Texas, or Florida markets is beneficial
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a lean team
Job Offer
