Description
- Prepare accurate and competitive estimates for self-performing concrete projects.
- Analyze project plans, specifications, and drawings to determine scope, budget, and resources.
- Develop detailed cost estimates for materials, labor, and equipment.
- Work closely with project managers and teams to align project goals and estimates.
- Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor bids for project components.
- Identify potential risks, value engineering opportunities, and cost-saving solutions.
- Prepare and present proposals, ensuring all estimates meet company standards and client expectations.
- Stay updated on market trends, pricing, and advancements in construction techniques and materials.
Profile
My Client is seeking professionals that are able to offer everything below:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in construction estimating, preferably in concrete or utilities.
- Strong proficiency with estimating software and drafting tools (e.g., AutoCAD and Revit).
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with the confidence to collaborate across teams.
- A proactive mindset with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
