Description

• Manage development of new manufacturing equipment from concept through release.
• Oversee prototyping, testing, and troubleshooting of automated systems.
• Collaborate with customers to meet requirements while leveraging company capabilities.
• Develop project plans, timelines, and cost estimates.
• Mentor junior engineers and technicians.
• Approve design and process changes to improve performance and cost.
• Support root cause analysis for existing equipment issues.

Profile

• Bachelor's or Master's in Engineering (Mechanical preferred).
• 3-5 years of product/process development experience.
• 1-3 years of leadership experience.
• Background in plastic part fabrication (thermoforming a plus).
• Experience in machine design, electrical basics, and manufacturing practices.
• Skilled in SolidWorks or Inventor, statistical analysis, and FMEA.
