Automation Engineering Manager - Rochester, NH
The Automation Engineering Manager oversees the design, development, and implementation of automated manufacturing equipment and processes. The role involves managing projects, conducting experiments, troubleshooting systems, and ensuring alignment with customer requirements and company capabilities.

Description
Responsibilities:
- Manage development of new manufacturing equipment from concept through release.
- Oversee prototyping, testing, and troubleshooting of automated systems.
- Collaborate with customers to meet requirements while leveraging company capabilities.
- Develop project plans, timelines, and cost estimates.
- Mentor junior engineers and technicians.
- Approve design and process changes to improve performance and cost.
- Support root cause analysis for existing equipment issues.
Profile
Ideal Candidate:
- Bachelor's or Master's in Engineering (Mechanical preferred).
- 3-5 years of product/process development experience.
- 1-3 years of leadership experience.
- Background in plastic part fabrication (thermoforming a plus).
- Experience in machine design, electrical basics, and manufacturing practices.
- Skilled in SolidWorks or Inventor, statistical analysis, and FMEA.
