Senior Accountant

The Senior Accountant will play a key role in assisting in month end close, bank reconciliations, and financial reporting.

Description

• Prepare and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
• Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.
• Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies to maintain accurate financial records.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts to support strategic decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards.
• Collaborate with internal teams to streamline financial operations and improve efficiency.
• Support audits by providing necessary documentation and responding to inquiries.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements within the accounting function.

Profile

A successful Senior Accountant should have:

• Experience within the financial services industry (ideally from banking).
• Experience with derivatives products- strong PLUS!
• CPA a PLUS!
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and other relevant accounting principles.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
