Project Executive | Science/Technology

This role will oversee the pursuit, planning, execution, and delivery of industrial construction projects with a focus on science and technology applications. This role involves managing specialized facilities such as high-tech manufacturing plants, laboratories, or biotech production sites with cleanrooms, R&D labs, or advanced manufacturing lines, integrating cutting-edge systems.

Known for delivering large-scale, complex projects-often starting at $15M-they specialize in industrial, multifamily/senior living, healthcare, and emerging sectors like science and technology. They are recognized for its collaborative culture, innovative design-build approach, and commitment to creating spaces that positively impact communities.

Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Project Pursuits: Drive responses to RFPs, develop bidding strategies, and deliver compelling presentations to prospective clients.
  • Manage Preconstruction & Design: Oversee project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and risk assessments; collaborate with design and engineering teams to ensure technical precision.
  • Client Engagement: Serve as the primary client-facing leader, fostering strong relationships and ensuring exceptional service throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Project Delivery Oversight: Guide teams through execution phases, ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and performance standards.
  • Business Development: Identify new opportunities, support growth strategies, and help expand the science and technology sector.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor project managers and staff, promote collaboration, and maintain accountability for project outcomes.

Profile

  • 10+ years of construction management experience, including 5+ years leading science and technology projects.
  • Strong knowledge of design-build delivery methods and advanced technical systems (MEP, cleanroom standards, etc.).
  • Proficiency with project management tools (Procore, MS Project) and BIM.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field; advanced certifications (PMP, LEED AP) preferred.
