Senior Electrical Engineer - Industrial Hardware - Boston, MA
This position is part of a small, collaborative hardware and production group focused on building high‑performance connected products. You'll work across the full product lifecycle-supporting development builds, addressing issues surfaced during manufacturing and field use, and contributing to design improvements and cost‑reduction initiatives.

Description
- Support new product development and enhancements to existing platforms
- Diagnose and debug electrical issues in development, production, and field environments
- Perform schematic capture, PCB layout, and BOM updates
- Collaborate with global manufacturing partners; some travel required
- Support EMC and safety certification processes for multiple regions

Profile
A successful Senior Electrical Engineer should have:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
- 5+ years developing electronics for consumer or medical devices
- Strong analytical mindset and creative problem‑solving approach
- Clear communicator with solid documentation habits
- Comfortable taking ownership in a small, fast‑moving team
- Hands‑on experience with electronics assembly, repair, and rework
- Proficient with lab equipment for board bring‑up and debugging
- Experience integrating electronics into mechanical assemblies
- PCB design experience in KiCad, Altium, or similar platforms
- Familiar with certification and regulatory testing procedures
Preferred Experience:
- Exposure to BLDC motor drive or braking systems
- Sensor integration (encoders, load cells, thermocouples, etc.)
- High‑voltage design (<400 VDC) and isolation techniques
- Comfort with C for firmware prototyping and scripting tools (Python, Matlab)
- Understanding of thermal management for electronics
