Description
The successful Construction Manager will:
- Act as the owner's representative, coordinating between developers, contractors, and stakeholders.
- Oversee budgets, schedules, and quality control to ensure successful project delivery.
- Lead on-site teams and ensure compliance with safety and building standards.
- Communicate progress and resolve issues promptly to keep projects on track.
- Oversee site preparation and development activities to achieve 'pad ready' status, including grading, utilities installation, and infrastructure work.
- Secure necessary permits and ensure all construction activities comply with local, state, and federal regulations. Address compliance issues during the project lifecycle.
- Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with OSHA and other relevant regulations. Conduct safety audits and address any issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of construction progress, budgets, and contracts. Provide regular updates to senior management and stakeholders on project status.
Profile
The successful Project Manager will have the following:
- 7+ year's experience in Construction Management
- Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field
- Utilities or Civil Construction experience required
- OSHA certification preferred
- Project management software proficient
- Effective communication skills to interface with both clients and field staff
