Designer - Contract

Our client is a Financial Institution and is seeking a Designer to join their team on a temporary basis. This role handles brand, marketing, digital and website design. This role will be located in Hudson Yards.

Description

• Refresh and refine existing materials to ensure alignment with plan sponsor or external partner brand guidelines.
• Maintain a cohesive and elevated visual identity across all design outputs, including light rebranding and deck polishing.

• Create client‑ready and prospect‑ready PowerPoint decks that communicate clear messaging.
• Develop compelling visual structures and strong data visualization to simplify complex topics.

• Design and build microsites to support new business opportunities, product rollouts, and ongoing participant or client education.
• Develop digital and web assets that enhance plan sponsor experiences and engagement.

• Produce high‑quality brochures, postcards, one‑pagers, and other participant-facing materials.
• Create customized campaign collateral tailored to plan sponsor goals and initiatives.

• Concept and design creative swag and promotional items for finalist meetings, benefits fairs, and plan sponsor events.
• Ensure all event materials feel cohesive, branded, and client‑appropriate.

• Produce short‑form videos to support participant education, finalist storytelling, and marketing deliverables.
• Integrate motion graphics and animation to elevate multimedia engagement.

Profile

• 3-7+ years of experience in visual, digital, or multimedia design
• Strong proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Premiere, After Effects)
• Experience designing for both print and digital mediums
• Strong understanding of brand systems, layout, typography, and visual storytelling
• Excellent ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and maintain high-quality deliverables
