Construction Estimator - Miami, FL
A Construction Estimator is responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for residential, commercial, or civil construction projects by analyzing blueprints, specifications, and market data. This role is critical in helping companies bid competitively and manage budgets effectively throughout the project lifecycle.

Description
- Review architectural drawings, specifications, and bid documents.
- Perform quantity take-offs and cost analysis for labor, materials, and equipment.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather pricing and scope details.
- Prepare detailed bid proposals and budgets.
- Track market trends and material costs to ensure competitive pricing.
- Recommend value engineering options and cost-saving strategies.
- Maintain documentation and support pre-construction planning.

Profile
A successful Estimator should have:
- A strong understanding of construction processes and cost estimation principles.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, construction plans, and technical documents.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with teams.
- Familiarity with industry-standard estimation software and tools (e.g., Bluebeam, HeavyBid, PlanSwift).
