Field Service Technician
My client is actively growing their Field Service team and are seeking candidates with strong Electrical and Mechanical skill-sets. You will be supporting their customers Nationwide with installation and maintenance of their industry leading capital equipment. The role will be split between being on-site in Seymour, CT and travelling to their customer sites.

My client is a global leader in the research, design, and manufacture of systems for the polymer processing industry. Their equipment is engineered to handle complex compounding challenges, enabling clients to achieve maximum throughput and a favorable return on investment. Their equipment is utilized across various industries, producing materials for products such as building and construction materials, 3D printing materials, biopolymers for food packaging, pipes and hoses, conductives, and wire and cable insulation
In recent years, they have focused on sustainability and recycling solutions. They have developed processes for biodegradable plastics, and have engaged in projects involving recycled materials. Description
The key responsibilities of the Field Service Technician are:
- Install and commission continuous mixing systems and related equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs to minimize downtime for customers.
- Provide technical training and support to customers on the operation and maintenance of equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues and recommend corrective actions.
- Document service activities, prepare detailed reports, and communicate findings with customers and internal teams.
- Assist in testing, upgrading, and modifying equipment as required.
- Collaborate with engineering and sales teams to provide feedback for product improvements.
- Travel frequently to customer sites, both domestically and internationally, as needed.

The successful Field Service Technician will have the following:
- Strong Electrical and Mechanical Hands-on knowledge
- PLC Experience Preferred
- Experience working on Capital Equipment
- Experience working on measurement tools (Calipers, Multimeters)
- Ability to Travel up to 70% Nationwide
