We are seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Superintendent to lead and oversee on-site operations for high-quality commercial projects in Tampa, FL. Description
- Supervise and coordinate all on-site construction activities to ensure timely and budget-conscious completion.
- Schedule and manage subcontractors, materials, and inspections for smooth field operations.
- Enforce safety standards, conduct site safety meetings, and ensure OSHA compliance.
- Monitor progress and quality, addressing and resolving on-site issues proactively.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to execute project plans seamlessly.
- Maintain daily logs, reports, and documentation of on-site activities.
- Serve as the primary on-site contact for subcontractors, inspectors, and clients.
Profile
- Has at least 5 years of experience as a superintendent in commercial construction.
- Demonstrates expertise in managing projects in sectors such as office spaces, retail, healthcare, or hospitality.
- Possesses strong knowledge of construction methods, safety regulations, and quality control practices.
- Excels in leadership and communication, with the ability to effectively manage teams and subcontractors.
- Is proficient in construction management software and scheduling tools.
- Resides in or is willing to relocate to the Tampa, FL area.
