Quality Engineer - Defense Manufacturing - Dover, NH
The Quality Engineer (aerospace and defense manufacturing) will analyze and interpret customer quality and technical requirements to support the development and continuous improvement of quality assurance systems. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure requirements are accurately integrated into processes, while monitoring compliance and driving solutions to maintain high-quality standards at our Dover, NH facility.

Description
The Quality Engineer - Defense Manufacturing will:
- Identify and analyze customer quality and technical requirements
- Support development, implementation, and continuous improvement of quality assurance systems
- Ensure customer requirements are accurately integrated into TDGO documentation and processes
- Collaborate with Customer Service, Program Management, Design Engineering, and Value Stream teams to ensure smooth flow-down of requirements
- Prepare clear, logical reports summarizing facts, analyses, and conclusions
- Manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing demands effectively
- Work independently to meet quality assurance objectives
- Interface regularly with employees across the facility to support quality initiatives
- Monitor and verify compliance with customer and internal quality standards
- Assist in risk assessments and quality audits as needed
- Maintain and organize quality documentation and records
- Support cross-functional teams in resolving quality issues and driving improvements
- Onsite at our Dover, NH facility

Profile
Our ideal quality engineer will have the following experience:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering, or related technical field preferred
- Experience with ISO9001 OR AS9100
- Local to Dover, NH
- Previous aerospace / defense experience a plus, but not required
- Experience analyzing and interpreting customer Quality and Technical requirements
- Skilled in supporting development, implementation, and improvement of quality assurance systems
- Ability to collaborate effectively with Customer Service, Program Management, Design Engineering, and Value Stream teams
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to produce clear, logical reports with supported conclusions
- Good organizational skills, capable of managing multiple and shifting priorities
