The Controls Engineer will be responsible for testing, installing, and servicing all robots and automation equipment, ensuring efficient operation. Additional responsibilities include conducting thorough system diagnostics, developing technical documentation, training customer personnel, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and enhance system design.

Description
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the testing and installation of robots and automation equipment, ensuring all systems operate efficiently and effectively.
- Collaborate with the Engineering Manager to develop and implement automation solutions tailored to customer needs.
- Conduct thorough system diagnostics and troubleshooting to resolve any issues with robotic and automation equipment.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including installation guides and maintenance procedures.
- Train customer personnel on the operation and maintenance of automation systems to ensure smooth integration.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in automation technology to enhance system performance.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including design and production, to streamline processes and improve overall system design.
Profile
Ideal Candidate:
- Bachelor's degree in Controls Engineering or relevant field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in programming Allen Bradley PLCs.
- Proficient in HMI programming, including SCADA systems, tag-based programming, and tools like Figma.
- Familiarity with FANUC robot programming, Keyence vision systems, and various other automation technologies.
- 3 to 5 years of experience programming safety controllers.
- Skilled in designing electrical schematics and layouts for electrical panels.
