As a VP of Financial Risk, you will oversee and manage the financial reporting and control functions within the financial services industry. This role requires expertise in accounting and finance to ensure compliance and accuracy in all financial processes.

Description

  • Lead and oversee financial reporting processes to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Develop and implement internal controls to enhance the accuracy and reliability of financial data.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on accounting and finance objectives.
  • Prepare and review financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance to identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to the accounting and finance team to foster professional development.
  • Support audits and ensure adherence to compliance requirements within the financial services industry.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate financial risks to safeguard the organization's assets.
