Description

• Reviews project plans, specifications, and geotechnical data to understand scope and requirements.
• Calculates quantities of materials, labor, and equipment needed for large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Prepares detailed cost estimates, budgets, and bid proposals for projects such as highways, bridges, utilities, and sitework.
• Evaluates subcontractor and supplier quotes to ensure accurate and competitive pricing.
• Identifies project risks, constructability issues, and value‑engineering opportunities.
• Collaborates with project managers, engineers, and field teams to refine estimates and support bid strategies.
• Tracks historical cost data and market pricing trends to improve estimate accuracy.
