Director - Portfolio Management - Affordable Housing

The Director - Portfolio Management will be involved with acquisitions, development management and asset management operations on an expanding LIHTC and Section 8 portfolio in the North East, reporting to the CFO offering strategic oversight and a results-driven approach to improve asset value and operational efficiency within the affordable housing, real estate. Description

  • Lead and oversee the management of a diverse affordable property portfolio to ensure operational excellence and financial performance.
  • Work closely with C-Suite leaders on new acquisitions and deals and partner with asset management.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance property value and tenant satisfaction.
  • Monitor and evaluate property performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations across all managed properties.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including tenants, vendors, and investors.
  • Oversee budgets, financial reporting, and forecasting for the property portfolio.
  • Stay informed about market trends and provide recommendations for property acquisitions or disposals.

Profile

A successful Director - Portfolio Management should have:
