Site Superintendent
Our client, located in Brooklyn, is looking for a detail-oriented, organized, and experienced Residential Interior Construction Site Superintendent to oversee the daily operations of interior construction projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of residential construction, interior finishes, and scheduling, along with strong leadership skills to coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams.

Description
The key responsibilities of the Site Superintendent - Brooklyn, NY:

Project Oversight & Management:
- Lead the daily activities of interior residential construction projects, ensuring work is completed on time, within budget, and according to quality standards.
- Oversee the scheduling, planning, and execution of interior finishes, including framing, drywall, flooring, cabinetry, paint, trim, and other related tasks.
- Monitor job site safety and ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
- Maintain strong communication with clients, architects, designers, and project managers to ensure all parties are aligned on project goals and timelines.

Team Coordination:
- Supervise and manage subcontractors and vendors, ensuring work is performed according to contract specifications.
- Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks to ensure work meets company standards.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, ensuring that project teams are working efficiently and effectively.

Budget and Resource Management:
- Ensure project is completed within budget by monitoring expenses, addressing cost overruns, and providing timely reports to senior management.
- Order and track materials and ensure timely delivery to avoid project delays.

Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including change orders, daily logs, and progress reports.
- Assist in the preparation of project bids and estimates when necessary.

Problem Solving:
- Proactively identify potential construction issues and provide solutions to mitigate delays and costs.
- Work closely with the project management team to address client concerns and resolve any issues that arise on the job site.
Profile
The successful Residential Construction Site Superintendent will have the following qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Construction Superintendent or in a similar leadership role, with a focus on residential interior projects.
- Strong knowledge of residential construction techniques, interior finishes, and building codes.
- Proven track record of managing and completing projects on time and within budget.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction drawings, and specifications.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in construction management software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend, or similar).
- OSHA certification or equivalent safety training preferred.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
