Project Engineer - Industrial - Springfield, MA
The Project Engineer will participate in technical development projects for products and systems within the organization. This role focuses on design development, supporting costing, and coordinating for timely releases. You'll take on exciting projects and cross-functional tasks that keep your work dynamic and impactful!

Description
Reporting directly into the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for the following:
- Own system and component-level designs from concept to release using advanced CAD tools.
- Manage drawing approvals, BOM updates, and spec communication across teams.
- Create Gantt charts, DFMEAs, and run design reviews with internal and external stakeholders.
- Develop robust test plans, coordinate lab activities, and deliver results through detailed customer reports.
- Collaborate with APQP teams to ensure smooth mass production, supporting key deliverables like control plans and PFMEAs.
- Partner with Sales and New Product teams to explore new business opportunities.
Profile
A successful Project Engineer should have:
- A degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience using CAD, GD&T, creating 3D and 2D drawings.
- Proven ability to manage projects and meet deadlines efficiently.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
- Proficiency in relevant engineering software and tools.
