Drywall Superintendent
A mid-size, full-service general contractor in South Florida is seeking an experienced Drywall Superintendent to join their team. Our client boasts a diverse portfolio of commercial projects, including self-storage facilities, shopping centers, and restaurants.
Client Details
The Drywall Superintendent will oversee all aspects of drywall installation and finishing for a variety of commercial construction projects. This role requires hands-on leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to manage subcontractors and crews to ensure quality and efficiency.
Description
- Manage and coordinate all drywall phases from framing to finishing.
- Supervise and schedule crews to meet project deadlines.
- Ensure work meets high-quality standards and adheres to project specifications.
- Monitor materials, tools, and labor to ensure cost-effective operations.
- Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and inspectors to maintain smooth project flow.
- Enforce site safety protocols and quality control.
Profile
- Proven experience as a Drywall Superintendent on commercial construction projects.
- Strong understanding of drywall systems, framing, and finishing.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents.
- Experience managing crews and subcontractors.
