Superintendent - Raleigh/Durham/Rocky Mount

A leading healthcare builder is seeking a Superintendent or Senior Superintendent to oversee field operations across multiple active projects, including Health renovations and a major $140M ground‑up bed tower in Rocky Mount.

A major North Carolina contractor specializing in healthcare and complex technical builds, known for its strong operational teams and long‑term client relationships.

Description

• Lead and manage all on-site construction activities to ensure timely project completion.
• Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain workflow and resolve any issues.
• Oversee safety protocols and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Review and interpret construction plans, specifications, and contracts to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Monitor and control project budgets and schedules, reporting progress to stakeholders.
• Ensure quality control by conducting regular site inspections and addressing any deficiencies.
• Facilitate effective communication between team members and stakeholders to ensure project alignment.
• Maintain detailed project documentation, including daily reports and change orders.

Profile

A successful Superintendent should have:

• Senior Superintendent or Superintendent ready for promotion
• Healthcare and/or large‑scale ground‑up experience required
• Strong multi‑site or large-program oversight experience
• Exceptional communication skills
