Description
The Construction Estimator will be responsible for:
- Prepare detailed and accurate estimates for commercial, industrial, and institutional construction projects.
- Analyze project drawings, specifications, and bid documents to determine scope and cost.
- Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier bids to ensure competitive pricing.
- Develop budgets, cost strategies, and value engineering solutions.
- Collaborate with project managers and executives to support preconstruction efforts.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, material costs, and industry best practices.
- Assist in preparing proposals and bid presentations for potential clients.
- Ensure compliance with company estimating procedures and industry standards.
- Participate in project handoff meetings to transition estimates to the construction team.
Profile
The Construction Estimator will possess:
- 5+ years experience
- estimating software such as Procore, Bluebeam, Sage, or similar tools
- Ability to review project documents and develop accurate cost estimates
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients.
- Able to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work independently when needed.
Job Offer
The Construction Lead Estimator will receive:
- Compensation up to $140,000
- Annual Bonus
- Profit Sharing
