Client Details

Founded in 1946, my client has over 75 years of experience supplying components and systems to original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) in various industries. This particular facility contributes to the company's diverse product portfolio, which includes parts for residential appliances (refrigeration, cooking, laundry), commercial refrigeration, HVAC systems, and home/office organizational products.

Description

• Drive New Product Development / New Process Introduction efforts
• Participate in quoting of projects
• Provide leadership & training for a group of Mechanical & NPD Engineers
• Implement LEAN/6S initiatives into production to drive cost savings & eliminate waste
• Oversee engineering operations between two facilities
• Approve new processes and find most efficient manufacturing processes for existing product lines
• Collaborate regularly with quality, operations, and supply chain departments to ensure OTD

Profile

• 3-5 years of managerial experience in an Engineering position
• Bachelors degree in Engineering or a related field
• Experience with AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks
• Quoting experience
• Experience with project based work
• Proven ability to develop skillsets of employees
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills

Job Offer

• Base salary up to $140,000 based on experience
• Annual bonus incentive based on company performance
• 4 weeks of PTO
