Description
The Multifamily Project Manager will support large-scale, ground-up multifamily construction projects-typically $25M+, with durations of 18-24 months. The team currently has two active project starts and three more in the pipeline, providing a strong runway of long-term work.
This is an in-office role with regular site visits, working closely with the Sr. PM and VP of the Multifamily division, field teams, and trade partners to ensure seamless execution across all project phases.
- Lead fulllifecycle management of ground-up multifamily, wood-frame projects
- Oversee planning, scheduling, procurement, buyout, change management, and cost control
- Manage subcontractor coordination, contracts, and performance
- Drive project progress, ensuring adherence to quality, safety, schedule, and budget
- Conduct weekly site visits and maintain strong field alignment
- Build effective relationships with clients, design partners, and internal stakeholders
- Ensure all project documentation, tracking, and reporting is completed within Procore
- Mentor and support Assistant Project Managers and project support staff
Profile
- 5-7 years of experience as a Project Manager in commercial construction
- Experience with a General Contractor required
- Wood-frame construction experience mandatory
- Ground-up multifamily project experience required, ideally $25M+
- Strong proficiency in Procore
- Ability to work from the Tysons, VA office with weekly site travel across Northern VA, DC, and Maryland
- Sound leadership, organizational, and communication skills
Job Offer
- Base Salary: $100,000- $130,000
