Manufacturing Engineer - Medical Device - Merrimack, NH

In this Manufacturing Engineer role you will be expected to lead hands-on process improvements and product introductions. This role combines shop floor support with design work, test protocol execution, and collaboration across departments.

Description

As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will report into the Manufacturing Manager and be responsible for:

• Support day to day manufacturing operations in a hands-on role
• Design and create fixtures and tooling for production
• Use SolidWorks to model parts and generate detailed assembly instructions
• Write and execute test protocols; document results and perform analysis
• Assist in new product introduction and process development
• Collaborate with production staff to implement process improvements
• Write and manage Engineering Change Orders (ECOs)
• Ensure compliance with FDA, MDSAP, and other regulatory requirements (training provided)
• Communicate technical concepts clearly across all levels of the organization

Profile

A successful candidate will have:

• 5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience
• Experience in regulated industries (medical device, aerospace, etc.)
• Proficient in SolidWorks and fixture design
• Hands-on with shop tools and prototyping
• Skilled in process development and product introduction
• Familiar with ECOs and quality systems
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced environment
