Manufacturing Engineer - Medical Device - Merrimack, NH
In this Manufacturing Engineer role you will be expected to lead hands-on process improvements and product introductions. This role combines shop floor support with design work, test protocol execution, and collaboration across departments.

Our client is an established medical device manufacturer specializing in precision engineered products for the health care industry. They offer a collaborative, small team environment where engineers contribute directly to production, design, and process development.
Description
As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will report into the Manufacturing Manager and be responsible for:
- Support day to day manufacturing operations in a hands-on role
- Design and create fixtures and tooling for production
- Use SolidWorks to model parts and generate detailed assembly instructions
- Write and execute test protocols; document results and perform analysis
- Assist in new product introduction and process development
- Collaborate with production staff to implement process improvements
- Write and manage Engineering Change Orders (ECOs)
- Ensure compliance with FDA, MDSAP, and other regulatory requirements (training provided)
- Communicate technical concepts clearly across all levels of the organization
Profile
A successful candidate will have:
- 5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience
- Experience in regulated industries (medical device, aerospace, etc.)
- Proficient in SolidWorks and fixture design
- Hands-on with shop tools and prototyping
- Skilled in process development and product introduction
- Familiar with ECOs and quality systems
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced environment
