Maintenance Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee and manage all maintenance operations at a dynamic food and beverage production facility. This role is critical in ensuring the smooth functioning of production lines, compliance with safety standards, and adherence to preventative maintenance schedules.

Description

• Maintenance Planning and Execution

  • Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance programs to ensure minimal downtime of equipment.
  • Supervise and coordinate repair work on machinery, refrigeration, utilities, and other systems.
  • Monitor and manage all preventive and predictive maintenance activities.

• Team Leadership

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of skilled maintenance technicians and contractors.
  • Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement within the maintenance team.

• Operational Efficiency

  • Ensure all equipment and facilities operate at optimal efficiency to meet production targets.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement cost-effective solutions.

• Compliance and Safety

  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, GMP, and other regulatory standards.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and training sessions for the maintenance team.

• Budget Management

  • Develop and manage the maintenance department budget, including labor, parts, and external services.
  • Monitor spending and identify areas for cost savings without compromising quality.

• Documentation and Reporting

  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment repairs, and inventory.
  • Provide regular reports to senior management on equipment performance, downtime, and project progress.

Profile

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Manager or similar role in a manufacturing environment, preferably in food or beverage production.
• Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration systems.
• Familiarity with CMMS software and maintenance scheduling tools.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field is preferred.
