Project Manager - Retail Construction - Raleigh
Prominent Carolinas general contractor seeking to hire a Project Manager! Projects include commercial, retail, and big-box grocery stores.

Founded in the 1970's, this general contractor has paved their way to be a go-to partner for NC's thriving commercial and retail construction sector.
Description
- Develop and implement project plans, including scope, budget, and schedule.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to define project goals, objectives, and deliverables.
- Create and manage project budgets, ensuring financial goals are met.
- Build and lead project teams, assigning tasks and responsibilities.
- Foster a collaborative and positive working environment.
- Negotiate and administer contracts with vendors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Ensure compliance with contract specifications and terms.
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies. Monitor and manage project risks throughout the construction process.
- Develop and maintain project schedules using project management software.
- Communicate regularly with stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and regulatory authorities.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and project correspondence.
- Address and resolve any challenges or obstacles that may arise during the construction process.
- Oversee the project closeout process, including final inspections and client acceptance.
- Address any outstanding issues and ensure client satisfaction.
Profile
- 10+ years of Project Management experience with a General Contractor
- MUST have experience with ground-up and/or renovation commercial projects with values greater than $5M
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field highly desirable
- Applicable project management software proficiency
- Excellent communication skills including the competency to lead presentations and client meetings
- Effective team-building skills to support a positive team atmosphere & meet high productivity goals
- Business & financial acumen
Job Offer
- Base salary 115-150K contingent on experience
