Project sizes typically range from $5M to $180M, and the company is known for delivering complex builds on aggressive timelines without compromising quality.

Description

• Develop full quantity takeoffs and detailed estimates across multiple CSI divisions

• Analyze subcontractor bids and scopes; manage subcontractor outreach and pricing

• Lead bid coordination efforts and ensure timely submission of proposals

• Evaluate construction documents and identify cost-saving or risk-related opportunities

• Partner with project teams and clients to support budgeting and design development phases

• Assist in value engineering exercises and provide pricing for design changes as needed

• Stay up-to-date on market pricing, material trends, and trade partner capabilities

Profile

• 5+ years of experience in estimating for a commercial general contractor

• Strong familiarity with commercial interiors and ground-up construction in NYC

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, On-Screen Takeoff, and Procore (or similar platforms)

• Deep understanding of local trade costs and construction sequencing

• Strong communication and negotiation skills with vendors and subcontractors

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
