Site Superintendent - Western Suburbs
The Site Superintendent will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations on multi-family construction sites, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. This role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of residential construction practices.

A well-established construction firm located in the western suburbs of Chicago is seeking a Site Superintendent to oversee multi-family residential projects. Description
- Oversee all on-site construction activities and subcontractor coordination.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
- Maintain project schedules and communicate progress with project managers.
- Conduct daily site inspections and quality control checks.
- Resolve field issues and proactively manage risks.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and inspectors to ensure smooth execution.
Profile
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Site Superintendent in multi-family or residential construction.
- Strong knowledge of building codes, safety standards, and construction methods.
- Proven ability to manage subcontractors and construction crews effectively.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend, MS Project).
- OSHA 30 certification preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- High school diploma required; associate or bachelor's degree in construction-related field preferred.
