Quality Engineer - Chicago, IL | Unlimited PTO
Our client is looking for a Quality Engineer to join the quality department, with a background in manufacturing and experience working with a QMS, specifically in compliance with ISO 9001. The Quality Engineer will handle non-conformance reports and will create visual charts and graphs to report on KPIs.

Our client is a leading manufacturer of industrial shelving and storage units for the consumer and commercial industries. They work with major Fortune 500 customers including The Home Depot, Lowe's, Menard's, Walmart, and more. With over 120 employees, they provide a small company feel but offer the stability of a large organization with their prominent customer base.
Description
The Quality Assurance Engineer will be responsible for:
- Aiding in the establishment/building out their QMS
- Assisting with ISO 9001 audits
- Creating reports based on statistical analysis
- Handling any non conformance reports
- Product and Protype Testing
- Working directly with customers to discuss reports and non-conformances
- Lead corrective actions through Root Cause Analysis methods
- Reading and interpreting blueprints
- PFMEAs

Profile
A successful quality assurance engineer will look like:
- 5+ years of experience in a quality manufacturing setting
- An associates degree or bachelors degree (ASQ Certification is sufficient)
- Background with metals manufacturing and the standards associated
- Knowledge of ISO 9001
- Strong Root Cause and Corrective Action experience.
- Experience with PFMEA
- GD&T Experience
- Sponsorship not provided
Job Offer
- Salary Range between $80,000 - $90,000
- Unlimited PTO Package
