Client Details
The organization specializes in creating innovative solutions for light measurement and optical applications, including tools for calibration and system testing. Its products support various industries by enabling accurate analysis and evaluation of light and optical systems.Description
You will report directly into the VP of Engineering and be responsible for:
- Managing all project activities and workflows, including scheduling, resource allocation, planning, design reviews, interdepartmental coordination, project reporting, and risk management.
- Assisting in defining project scope with relevant stakeholders to ensure technical feasibility.
- Tracking all engineering efforts, with a focus on the design phase.
- Facilitating design reviews and fostering effective communication to ensure collaboration across and within departments.
- Interfacing with engineering leadership, engineers, vendors, sales/customers, and internal production teams to ensure alignment on design, build, and test requirements, as well as execution plans.
- Overseeing projects from end to end to ensure timely and budget-compliant execution.
- Engaging with sales/customers as needed during project execution.
Profile
The successful candidate will have
- 4-8+ years of experience with electrical circuit design, particularly low voltage and DC
- Hands-on experience developing tightly integrated electrical hardware/firmware systems from concept through volume production
- photonics, spectroscopy, optics, lighting, and/or LED familiarity preferred
- Analog and digital electronics design familiarity
- Communication protocols knowledge
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
