Traveling Superintendent (Industrial/Education)
We are seeking a Commercial Superintendent for a general contractor specializing in commercial, industrial, airport, and education (K-12, HS and College) construction. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 4 years of construction experience, with a preference for commercial construction experience, and will be responsible for overseeing onsite building and constructionin Phoenix AZ and New Mexico - must be willing to relocate depending on job flow

We are a well-established general contracting company specializing in building and construction for commercial, industrial, airport, and education (K-12, HS and College) construction. We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Superintendent to join our dynamic team and contribute to our continued success.
Description
Responsibilities for Traveling Superintendent (Industrial/Education):
- Oversee and manage all on-site construction activities to ensure projects are completed within budget, on schedule, and meet the highest quality standards
- Coordinate and collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure efficient project execution.
- Supervise and lead a team of skilled workers and subcontractors in Las Vegas, providing guidance and support to maximize productivity and safety.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with all safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe work environment.
- Regularly inspect construction progress, identifying potential issues, and implementing corrective actions to mitigate risks and delays.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation, including project reports, daily logs, and progress updates in Phoenix
- MUST BE OPEN TO TRAVEL TO NEW MEXICO, UTAH, CALIFORNIA, and TEXAS (of course, we will pay per diem, offer company vehicle, etc.)
Profile
A successful Traveling Superintendent (Industrial/Education) will have:
- Minimum of 4 years of building and construction experience is required.
- Commercial construction experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage construction teams effectively.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
- Familiarity with relevant safety regulations and protocols.
- Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and deadlines.
