Traveling MEP Manager - $100M Projects
As an MEP Manager, you will oversee all Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection (MEPF) systems on large-scale mission critical an industrial construction projects. You will collaborate closely with project teams, trade partners, design teams, and clients to ensure systems are installed to the highest standards of quality. Description
- Lead and manage all MEPF coordination efforts from preconstruction through project closeout.
- Work with design consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure constructability, schedule adherence, and compliance with contract documents.
- Perform design reviews and value engineering to optimize system performance and cost.
- Manage the MEP schedule and integrate it with the master project schedule.
- Monitor field installation, testing, and commissioning processes to ensure quality and performance.
- Support BIM/VDC teams during MEP coordination and clash detection processes.
- Serve as the technical subject matter expert on all MEP-related issues.
- Ensure all systems meet safety codes, sustainability goals, and industry best practices.
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience managing MEP scopes on large-scale commercial construction projects.
- Proven experience working for or with top-ranked general contractors or MEP trade contractors.
- In-depth knowledge of building systems, codes, commissioning, and MEP industry standards.
- Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, Navisworks, BIM 360).
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- PE or LEED accreditation is a plus
Job Offer
- Starting base salary up to $200,000/year
- Per diem equivalent to 10-15% of base salary
