Description

• The Construction Project Manager in Manhattan will plan, coordinate, and supervise all aspects of commercial interior construction projects, including scope, budget, and schedule management.
• Collaborate with architects, designers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure alignment with project goals and timelines.
• Oversee on-site construction activities to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
• Prepare, track, and manage project budgets, change orders, and progress reports.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and resolve issues as they arise.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, each ranging in size and complexity.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes, permits, and regulations.

Profile

• The ideal Construction Project Manager has a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
• 5-7 years of experience managing commercial interior construction projects in New York City or similar urban environments.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and best practices in commercial interiors.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
• Proficiency in project management software, such as Procore or similar tools.
• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with NYC building codes and permitting processes.
