Client Details
My client is a global leader in advanced materials, specializing in filtration and energy storage solutions. With a long history that began in paper manufacturing, the company has evolved into a cutting-edge innovator in nanotechnology and specialty materials. Their products play a critical role in various industries, from improving air quality in HVAC and automotive applications to developing highly specialized filtration systems for pharmaceutical and food processing environments. In addition to filtration, my client also manufactures advanced materials for energy storage, supporting industries such as consumer electronics, automotive, and telecommunications.
Operating a network of manufacturing facilities across North America, Europe, and Asia, my client maintains a strong global presence while remaining privately held. Their production capabilities include two U.S.-based sites that manufacture glass fiber, a key component in many of their filtration products. The company's headquarters is based in the Northeast, with multiple facilities in the region supporting its operations.
One of their larger facilities spans hundreds of thousands of square feet and houses multiple large-scale production assets, including paper-based material manufacturing and wastewater treatment infrastructure. This site has a long operational history and presents both opportunities for process optimization and challenges related to aging infrastructure. It operates on a 24/7 schedule with a significant workforce, including a unionized production team. Another key site in the region, while smaller, is also a union facility and plays a crucial role in supporting the company's overall production network.
