FX and Rates Trade Support Middle Office Consultant

This role involves ensuring the accuracy and integrity of FX and Rates trade, managing life cycle events, and maintaining referential data in financial systems. Description

• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of trade positions across various systems.
• Resolve trade discrepancies promptly and facilitate necessary trade modifications.
• Manage and control the life cycle events of trades.
• Maintain and verify referential data in front office systems.
• Identify and test system enhancements to improve controls and reduce operational risk.
• Escalate issues and anomalies, and develop strong relationships with both local and global teams.

Profile

• A strong understanding of financial markets, particularly FX and Rates.
• Experience in trade support or middle office roles within a corporate or investment banking environment.
• Proficiency in using front office systems and managing trade life cycle events.
• Excellent problem-solving skills to resolve trade discrepancies and enhance system controls.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards in the financial industry.
• Effective communication skills to build relationships with local and global teams and escalate issues when necessary.
